Theatre Under The Stars

TUTSTheatre Under The Stars, also known as TUTS, is a local Houston nonprofit musical theater company. TUTS is dedicated to enriching life through the experience of quality musical theater and positively impacting the community beyond the stage through innovative education and outreach projects. Not only do they bring incredible Broadway-quality theater to the main stage at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, each summer TUTS performs free to tens of thousands of people at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park. TUTS also boasts one of the most highly respected musical theater schools in the nation, the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre. Since 1968, TUTS has been a Houston treasure. To this day, TUTS remains the only organization to have performed free to the public every single summer since the foundation of Miller Outdoor Theatre.
