A virtuoso who moves easily between musical worlds, pianist Aaron Diehl explores the early evolution of American piano and the essential ingredients in the creation of jazz. This concert is sure to delight listeners who reject conventional notions of genre. Known to Da Camera’s audience as the pianist with jazz vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant, Aaron Diehl has been an acclaimed soloist with orchestras including the New York Philharmonic.
